Weather forecast
Here we share our 5-day weather forecast graph for the ABC islands for this week (April 17th to April 21st, 2024).
* Changes are possible in the coming days due to the presence of a disturbance in the area, but uncertainty whether it will lead to a little beneficial rain is currently high. This means that currently we have low confidence in the outcome of this forecast. Last week a disturbance influenced the weather over the northeastern Caribbean, now the northern Caribbean is being influenced by a trough, leading to some beneficial rains there as well. Now, a disturbance is expected to influence the weather across the southern Caribbean and Venezuela in the coming days, mostly during the weekend across the local region. As said, there remains a question mark whether this disturbance will cause any beneficial rains as computer models have not been consistent and we are in time of the year where models are very erratic. We generally expect partly to mostly cloudy skies in the coming days and mostly during the weekend with today Wednesday a slight chance of a local shower, by tomorrow a little better chance of a local shower or two, the same for Friday and then between Saturday and mostly Saturday night to Sunday morning, the possibility of a few local showers. Although chances are very low for thunder by then, there is a slight chance for it to happen. Winds will decrease gradually until Saturday and become light to moderate by then, increasing again by Sunday. Winds will be easterly. We will also have some Saharan dust, mostly between Thursday and Friday, and it will only be a little during the other days. Wave heights will be around 0.8 to 1.3 meters this week. Maximum temperatures this week will be around 32 degrees Celsius/ 89 degrees Fahrenheit, and the minimum temperatures will be around 27 degrees Celsius/ 81 degrees Fahrenheit.
